Morgan Julia Walker’s greatest reward in life is helping those in need. Morgan understands from firsthand experience the trials and tribulations her clients face and the importance of effectuating the best outcome for them. Morgan believes that each person who enters the justice system deserves the best possible representation, especially when it comes to the emotionally charged arena of family law.
Morgan’s passion for those who are underprivileged, underrepresented, and marginalized by society led to her involvement in politics at an early age. She knows that if you want to effectuate change you have to roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty, and do the hard work yourself.
She received her Juris Doctorate from the South Texas College of Law in 2016. She holds a 2012 B.A. in political science from Texas State University. While at South Texas, Morgan received an award for her participation in the Pro Bono Honors Program, was the president of the Democratic Students Association, and volunteered with the Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse. Since that time, she has volunteered with Special Abilities of North Texas, Legal Aid of Northwest Texas, Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, and the Human Rights Initiative of North Texas.
Prior to law school, she was a Congressional intern for U.S Congressmen Lloyd Doggett, Senator Henry Cuellar, Senator Leticia Van de Putte and interned for a Washington, D.C. lobbying firm. Prior to her position at the Solis Law Firm, she was a law clerk for Chandler, Mathis & Zivley, P.C., a heavy volume civil litigation law firm.
In her free time, Morgan enjoys spending time with her family, especially smothering her three younger brothers with love (John, Michael, and Matthew), volunteering with the SPCA of North Texas, and remaining active in the political landscape of North Texas.
